Terms of Use of TBAC | IBES - International Brand Excellence Standard
This page summarizes, in plain English, how fees, payment, BrandMark validity and appeals work for TBAC | IBES - International Brand Excellence Standard.
Fees and payment
Yearly Brand Alliance fees are USD 250 for Emerging BRAND ALLY, USD 750 for SME, USD 2,500 for Corporate, and USD 6,000 for Institutional / Multinational organizations. Brand Mirror support and the BrandMark Review are one-time fees per three-year cycle. The Annual Shine Check is paid in years 1 and 2. Year 3 renewal is priced the same as the BrandMark Review fee. See Fees and payment. Payment is handled online by Stripe.
BrandMark validity
A BrandMark is valid for three years from the date it is issued, subject to passing the Annual Shine Check in years 1 and 2 and completing Renewal in year 3. A serious issue found during a Shine Check is reviewed and can affect a brand's standing before the three-year term is up.
Use of seals
A BRAND ALLY must not present the Ally mark as a BrandMark.
Decisions and appeals
The platform drafts a score, a reviewer recommends a result, and the BrandMark Council gives the final approval. A brand that does not earn the BrandMark can request a Second Look Review within 30 days.
TBLE services
TBLE services are provided by TBLE, a provider of complementary services. They are invoiced by TBLE separately and are not sold in the TBAC | IBES checkout.
Questions about the terms of use at TBAC | IBES - International Brand Excellence Standard
How are fees paid?
Fees are paid online in USD through Stripe. The invoice builds line by line with any discount applied automatically, and a receipt with a reference number is issued immediately.
Can a BrandMark be taken away?
The Annual Shine Check confirms there has been no major, unresolved change, such as a big shift in ownership, trademark status, or an unresolved public complaint or regulator action. A serious issue found during that check is reviewed and can affect a brand's standing before its three-year term is up.
Can I appeal a BrandMark decision?
Yes. A brand that does not earn the BrandMark, or earns it "in progress", can request a formal Second Look Review within 30 days.
